Decision Making Pillow Talk

In case you've been keeping up with my moving dilemma. You should be much relieved to know that I found a place. Once it's fully decorated I'll post some pictures of it. In the meantime, I'm having a couch pillow dilemma, and a need a bit of decisive input from you all.

My-couch

Here it is as it stands today, a hand-me-down couch with a white slipcover and two Anthropologie pillows. My dilemma?

Which pillows should I get to fill in the space between these two? They need to somewhat coordinate with the colors in the existing pillows, poster, and my bright orange lamp, but nothing match perfect.  I want the couch to have a bright, eclectic, and most importantly --a comfortable feel to it.

I've turned to 4 Steps to a Stylish Sofa for help. It explains when to choose a pair of matching pillows and then how to throw off the symmetry for a not too matchy-matchy, straight from the showroom look.

Koi

How about a koi patterned pillow -- Like this one from Henry Road? Koi do bring good luck, something I'm always up for.

Banana-pillow

Maybe center the couch with this banana needlepoint pillow from Pieces?

Orange-turqoise

Perhaps this pillow from Wisteria? I like the non-commital aspect of it having double color. But is it a little snorishly boring?

Schiaparelli_RedBlue

Uhm, how about this mouth-watering Madeline Weinrib pillow made from a vintage Elsa Schiaparelli scarf -- sigh, ah. (Sidenote: I have a hot-pink Schiaparelli hatbox that's also in my living room purchased from an eponymously named vintage shop. And God knows how much I like stripes.) I could do some real justifying to myself for this pillow.

Help! Tell me which pillows you like, or any you may have to recommend. Once I've filled out my couch I'll take a picture and post the finished product.

First dye the slip cover. White doesn't work. It looks like and old couch with a sheeet thrown on it. Whatever you do, don't use the banana

The orange and teal one is friggin awesome, I think "snorishly boring" would be the last description I'd assign to it! Plus it would go with the orange lamp and pop against the white couch.

The last one with the stripes is also very cool and would go well with the anthropologie pillows without looking the least bit matchy.

The koi pillow is cool, I like the graphic nature of it and I think it would be an interesting element of an eclectic mix.

Please skip the banana needlepoint. Unless of course you're 80 and decorating your kitchen.

Super cute place. Love the colors. I think that the Banana pillow is a must as long as it's accompanied by Madeline Weinrib pillows

Love the last one...not crazy about the banana, but I do like needlepoint pillows.

I would definitely do that banana! HAHA!
