Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably noticed that it's Breast Cancer Awareness month. There has probably been a Race for the Cure 5K race in your area. You may have seen NFL players sporting pink accents to their uniforms or a giant pink ribbon on your sports team's field. If you weren't aware -- hey, guess what, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

The color pink is popping up all over the place, even in the world of home design!
I love the pink phenomenon. Not only does it champion one of my favorite colors, but I think it sends a great message on the importance of early detection of breast cancer. For more information, visit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure or Breastcancer.org.
There are numerous ways to contribute to this outstanding cause, but check out these products and donate to breast cancer research from your desktop!
I don't think any bathroom is complete without a nice scented candle -- I think the pink packaging is so charming. Find it at redflower.com.
Even my roommate has noticed that I love throw pillows with a bird motif, don't ask me why! Plus, this one's pink! What more can you ask for? Find it at BlissLivingHome.com.
The Argo Pink Throw, also from BlissLivingHome.com, is a lovely dusty rose color and is made from bamboo and cashmere!

elson & company has introduced their second Fashion Underfoot collection, featuring rugs from your favorite designers like Cynthia Rowley (above) and Tory Burch (below)! Ten percent of all proceeds go to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative.
This is Tory Burch's chic rug for elson & company's Fashion Underfoot collection.
In the bathroom, I love pretty bar soap instead of drugstore brand from a plastic dispenser. Even washing my hands feels more glamorous. These pink soaps from Unica Home make a sweet gift or spice up a boring soap dish.
