Afraid to Commit?

When I flip through magazines and look online for gorgeous rooms often times I notice a trend. Not a particular color or style, but a commitment. These people don't gently play with an idea and half-way try something. They full-on commit to the idea and that is why these rooms stand out and impress. I wanted to share some inspiration to get you motivated to do the same. Ready, set, commit!

If you are thinking about wallpapering a wall-- go for it with a large pattern.

If you want to rock a bold color combination -- go all the way. If the walls were pale yellow and the chairs light gray, this room would still be pretty but would NOT have the impact it does now. Very fresh and very hip.

Thinking of adding new throw pillows to update your sofa-- don't limit yourself in number, size, or pattern. Just pick a common color and have fun.

Even when it comes to accessories you should take it 100% of the way. Wanting to add a natural touch your home with a bit of greenery? No simple bouquet of peonies here --go big and leafy with a live branch.

Or if you don't want the actual foliage, try a large floral decal. Having one super-sized bloom is still has impact but keep it more modern silhouette-like and less fussy than a full floral wall.

Even if you want things simple and clean, keeping everything white but adding several elements of texture help this room from being anything but boring.
